Overview of Visible National Trust

Visible National Trust is the first national turnkey special needs trust platform for families and Wealth Advisors. We provide special needs trust accounts and family advisory services. Visible trust accounts use a “pooled” recordkeeping and investment model (like a 401(k) plan), which enables us to operate at scale and retain the most qualified providers at reasonable cost. Visible National Trust is supported by the world’s most respected and trusted financial services firms, including BlackRock and Huntington Bank.

Our goal is to bring special needs trust services to all families who need them, and to ensure that Wealth Advisors are part of that process.

Our company structure includes Visible Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization which is the Trustee of Visible National Trust, and Visible National Trust LLC, which provides trust administration, beneficiary and advisor services, and family advisory services.

Our Ask

We are looking for $500,000 to $1,000,000 to fund distribution expansion, marketing, and AI integration.

Product or Service

Visible provides both types of special needs trusts, First- and Third-Party, through our trust platform. Third Party Trusts are most often funded by families who want to secure lifelong financial support and care for their disabled loved one. First Party trusts address financial resource planning for individuals with disabilities. Both types of trusts preserve benefit eligibility.

Visible National Trust is available nationwide and includes trust planning, documents, and coordination and communication with advisors, trust beneficiaries and families. Visible manages trust administration, investment oversight, distributions, and reporting. Trust account information is available online.

Visible Private Client Services include serving as fiduciary for trusts that provide for the lifelong care of family members with special needs who do not require ongoing benefit eligibility.

Company Impact

Visible is a disruptive special needs trust solution. Our focus on ease of use, national access at scale, and partnership with Wealth Advisors brings special needs trusts directly to families who need them as part of their wealth and estate plans.

We estimate that 23 million people are eligible for special needs trusts in the US, and that their families will invest $6T in special needs trusts over the course of the generational wealth transfer.

Families are hungry for special needs trust services. Trust documents, drafted and stuck in drawers, do not magically create live, funded trusts. Multi-million-dollar minimums at large banks are simply unrealistic for many families.

Inclusive wealth management means everyone. Visible gives advisors the tools they need to help their clients and provides families with the structure and services they need to care for their loved ones with disabilities.

Primary Audience

Our primary audience is Wealth Advisors and families. There are more than 300,0000 client-facing wealth advisors today – and none of them have an off-the-shelf special needs trust solution for their clients.

Our goal is to build and continuously grow our network of Wealth Advisor users. Families often reach out to Visible directly.

Each special needs trust has a single trust beneficiary who receives services directly from Visible. We work closely with families and each trust’s authorized people.

Partnership Opportunity

Visible is an aggregator of assets for a specific segment of families. At scale, we will be able to identify purchasing patterns and other client behavior. This in turn will drive buying power and create other tools to help make a better world for our clients and their families.

Funding Needs

Visible is the sole firm tackling this market aggressively with a national, scale solution. We have a valuable opportunity right now to nail down our market-leading position, serve more families, and create value. To achieve that goal we need a “get out of witness protection” program incorporating profile raising and direct sales to advisory firms and advisors.

Given the AI-driven reduction in costs for enterprise technology and tools, we anticipate funding growth through earnings.
