Vessl is rethinking the most foundational part of a prosthesis: the socket. While socket discomfort remains one of the top reasons amputees abandon their devices, innovation in this area has not kept pace. Our Kinn Socket System offers a first-of-its-kind solution with automatic mechanical volume adjustment that keeps up with the body’s natural changes throughout the day. The Kinn system uses walking motion to automatically adjust custom panels against the leg with each step to maintain a consistent fit throughout the day. This can significantly reduce fit issues, improve user confidence, and minimize time spent in clinics for adjustments. Our impact extends beyond the product itself.
