Overview of SMILE Mass
Small Miracles in Life Exist (SMILE Mass) is a 501 C3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping families raising children or adults with disabilities enjoy happy, healthy memories through education, vacation, and recreation experiences.
Our mission is to create educational opportunities, a day trip, a vacation opportunity, or a recreational experience without barriers, not only in our smaller communities throughout Massachusetts but throughout New England.
Core Programs
Our Club SMILE Mass programs include individual coaching sessions, access to swim lessons, social and book club, and more. In addition to Club SMILE Mass we also provide Floating Beach Wheelchairs to public ponds and beaches throughout New England. Our Equipment Loaner program reaches handicapped populations nationally. SMILE Mass also owns a fully accessible beach house in Wellfleet that is rentable to families throughout the year.
Needs
In order for SMILE Mass to reach its full potential, we need a property to house our Club SMILE Mass. Having our own facilities will enable us to greater serve the community of handicapped individuals and their families in ways we currently cannot due to facility limitation
