Overview of JoyLiving (by ONSCREEN, Inc)

JoyLiving (by ONSCREEN, Inc.) is an AI-native platform that supports older adults and people with disabilities—and the families, caregivers, and care teams around them. We deliver connection, companionship and proactive check-ins through TV, tablet, and phone so users don’t need smartphones, apps, or tech literacy. For care organizations (senior living and disability-serving providers), JoyLiving improves engagement and wellness monitoring while reducing staff burden through automation and workflow support of daily conversations, in room, or on the telephone. For families, we provide a simple way to stay connected and informed.

The company was started by experienced tech founders, with multiple prior successful exits.

Our Ask

We’re seeking (1) visibility within the disability innovation ecosystem, (2) introductions to mission-aligned funders/investors and strategic partners, and (3) pilot/customer partnerships with senior living, IDD/disability-serving organizations, and health plans. We are currently raising a seed round.

Product or Service

JoyLiving (ONSCREEN, Inc.) is an AI-native engagement, communication, and proactive check-in platform designed for older adults and people with disabilities, and the families and care teams who support them. We deliver experiences through the simplest interfaces people already use and understand—TV, tablet, and phone—so users don’t need smartphones, app downloads, passwords, or high tech literacy.

JoyLiving is one unified platform with multiple “surfaces” that all connect to the same AI, workflows, and analytics. JoyCalls is an AI phone companion that proactively calls residents/members for scheduled and on-demand check-ins and friendly conversation, helping reduce isolation while capturing key needs and concerns through natural dialogue. JoyTablet provides a simplified, accessibility-first tablet experience for guided engagement, two-way communication, and caregiver-friendly setup and support. JoyTV turns the television into a familiar hub for connection and engagement, including community announcements, reminders, events, and simple family communication.

For senior living and care organizations, we also provide JoyReceptionist, an AI receptionist that answers inbound calls, handles common questions, routes callers to the right department or person, takes structured messages, supports after-hours coverage, and escalates urgent calls to a live staff member based on each organization’s rules. This reduces missed calls and front-desk interruptions while improving responsiveness for families and callers.

A core differentiator of JoyLiving is that it produces actionable AI insights for communities and care teams. The platform converts everyday interactions across TV/tablet/phone and inbound calls into structured signals and summaries that help staff prioritize follow-up. Examples include engagement trends (who is disengaging or changing routine), call and conversation summaries with next-step recommendations, and alerts when interactions suggest a potential issue that needs attention. JoyLiving can also automate follow-through by creating tasks or tickets for the appropriate staff role, notifying authorized family contacts when appropriate, and triggering additional check-ins if something remains unresolved. The result is improved connection and engagement for residents/members, reduced caregiver and staff burden, and a scalable way for organizations to deliver proactive outreach and better service without adding headcount.

Company Impact

Our innovation is meeting people where they already are—phone, tablets & TV—by removing the accessibility barrier that blocks many older adults and people with disabilities from benefiting from digital health and communication tools. JoyLiving combines automated outreach with conversational AI, structured workflows, and insights/alerts so care teams can focus time where it matters most. Impact areas include reduced isolation, improved engagement, earlier awareness of issues, and reduced caregiver/staff load.

We’ve been recognized as innovators in the space by winning the AARP AgeTech After Dark Pitch at CES 2024, the CTA Foundation Health Innovation Challenge in 2025, and the CTA Foundation Shalam Award for Combating Social Isolation in 2026.

Primary Audience

Primary beneficiaries: older adults and people with disabilities (including cognitive, vision, hearing, or mobility limitations) who face barriers to mainstream technology.

Secondary beneficiaries: family caregivers and professional care teams in senior living and disability-serving organizations.

Who we sell to: Senior living communities, IDD providers on the B2B side, and we also sell direct to consumer. We also see the opportunity to work with government agencies that support large groups of older adults and IDD individuals.

Partnership Opportunity

We are raising a seed round to scale JoyLiving’s B2B go-to-market, expand deployments, and advance product capabilities. We’re also open to grant/philanthropic support for pilots with disability-serving organizations and outcomes measurement.

Funding Needs

We are raising a round that will take us to significant ARR, and we would likely raise a Series A to fuel growth from there.
