Product or Service
GaitBetter’s Virtual Simulation solution adds virtual simulation to existing treadmills, making them smart, personalized and safe motor-cognitive devices
Based on evidence-based scientific research, developed by world leading neuroscientists, and proved effective in clinical trials, GaitBetter’s treadmill technology is a recognized world-leading evidence-based intervention.
Traditional gait therapy has many limitations specifically around difficulty of use and the time demands placed on therapists. Using GaitBetter’s VR walking platform, our motor-cognitive approach to gait rehabilitation and fall prevention outperforms motor training alone. By adding virtual reality to treadmill training, patients can safely practice real-life situations like walking in a park or busy streets. Multi-tasking workouts – combining decision making, memory, and attention tasks – improve dynamic balance, endurance, gait, and cognitive function. These features lead to faster, lasting improvements, greater self-confidence, and reduced fall risk.
Ultimately, GaitBetter helps your patients improve mobility and reduce fall risk while helping providers maintain profitability.
